House or an apartment should suit one like his clothes. It also should have a character but not it`s own but a character of it`s owner. That way of thinking came up few years ago and was loved by a fashion and home decor magazines which started to show people reading books, walking, sleeping rather than empty interiors. It also came up that our house and it`s home decor that`s us with small things that we love.

I think that each one of us moved in into a beautiful designed house or apartment and felt really strange in there. It`s because this place wasn`t designed to a particular person. We are all different. Some people like live colours, having a lot of items at home while others don`t. We can`t live against ourselves. And that`s happening when someone else is decorating without knowing our needs. And on the other side - the interior is getting the qualities of it`s owner. When coming to someones you recently met flat fast you can tell what kind of person it is.
Selling happy places
Also the difference in thinking about home decorating is shown in the shops with home decor items, furniture. None of them is selling single items. And the furniture aren`t just waiting in the shops but are arranged like a particular interiors. The clients don`t have to use their imagination right now to see how the furniture and home accessories would like at their homes. They have already prepared interiors just to placed into their homes. At special exhibitions interiors have even artificial people, happy families, inside to imitate a living at such room.

Call of nature of the XXI century
Our home is like our territory - more our stuff than better. It`s like marking the territory in the XXI century. We feel very strong need to have something that is ours and unique because of this reason. But we don`t really know how to make space that we own really lived by ourselves and showing our real nature. That`s why we are looking for designers with whom we can share our needs and thoughts. The designer will know if we like warm colours, classic furniture and soft materials or a cold colours, modern furniture. Don`t be surprise if you`ll be asked you about a colour of favourite shirt - maybe this will be the best colour for a table cloth?
Totally different items
We not always starting our home decor with nothing. We usually have some stuff from old apartment and we don`t want to get rid of them. It might be even a dinner serve that belonged to our grandfather and function as a family souvenir. It has a special meaning to us that`s why we are taking it with us, changing apartments but not changing the `antiques`. And that is how the need of matching totally different things appears. We are having the old stuff with modern furniture. Our interior is a sort of a compilation of things that we have from our family home, gifts from friends, stuff of our partner that we are starting to live with etc. It`s not easy to make one compact interior from it.

Adding/Removing
Even if the certain elements won`t give a compact integrity there is still a chance to have an interesting decor. The easiest way is a colourful interior. Let`s paint a few walls (it doesn`t have to be every wall) in a one specific colour, f.e claret. It would be a background for all our furniture. And then the only thing left is to find some small accessories that would match this background: cotton blankets for a sofa in living room, soft carpet in bedroom or a vase that will stand in corridor. If one colour isn`t enough we can pick also a second one and buy accessories to a whole house. A perfect solution is to have the accessories in both colours at the whole house. Looking for items that would really suit us and will make our home/apartment a compact place - this is the thing that we need to learn. Even if we had to get rid of some things.
Sometimes if we don`t want to ask a designer for a help and don`t have a good idea for our home it is worth to see some kind of fashion magazine that will also have a few pages about home decor and it will bring you some really great decorating ideas. The purpose is to show ourselves in our homes. Of course if we know how to do it we don`t have to read anything or listen to anyone. But how many of us know how to do that?

Last year more people visited Krakow than they did ever before. They`re doing businesses here, seeing new places, meeting interesting people. But what else makes Krakow so special that people from all over the world wants to visit it And how the tourism in Krakow looks like?

Polish tourism is having it`s best time right now. And one of the most important towns is Krakow that brings millions of people every year and a lot of money to the country. Many of them cannot forget its beauty and think about staying there forever.
Very good time for tourism in Krakow was 2006 when most people came to Krakow to meet pope Benedict XVI. Only half of million pilgrims came there. It had its record with the numbers of visits. Today Krakow is changing it`s infrastructure to facilitate visiting this beautiful place. The roads are being developed, numbers of buildings is increasing, more people are choosing Krakow apartments, and decide to live there, hotels in Krakow are becoming better and better. Have you ever wondered what is the most special place at every home? Is it a bathroom, kitchen or a bedroom? No, neither of those rooms. The heart of every home is living room! So it should be a comfortable and nice place. How to do that?
Colours
Colours depends of what are yours and your family preferences. But it`s not all. There is also a size of the living room and its location that matters. You have to know if the window goes on the North or South side. If its North the colours of the wall should be light and warm cause there won`t be much sunshine in the room. You can also buy a lamp. But if the window is on the South side it`s not a problem to have darker interior.

Walls
To make our living room more interesting it is worth to make something unusual on the walls. For example make one of the walls in a different style - colour or material. If the whole room is in red we can paint one of the walls in brown or make this surface more bumpy etc. Very popular is also making wallpaper from our photos. Room enliven when its covered with smiling faces of our friends and family, and we also feel better when looking on happy moment of our lives. And everyone knows from the first moment who lives in the house.
Wallpapers
If we won`t decide on having the photo wallpaper we should choose the regular wallpaper very carefully. Specially when we are choosing the wallpapers to make the room brighter. If our living room is rather small and we have chosen flowers or geometric ornaments on the cores of the wall we should make sure that those ornaments won`t be too big. For very brave people designers recommends special stickers that they are designing with their clients.

Zones
In each living room we can separate so called zones. There might be zones for relaxing with the tv and sofa, armchairs or zone with a dining room where the dining tables can stand. If your living room is big enough you can differ those zones in a visible way. Materials can differ on the floor, walls can be in a different colours, in one zone might be glass furniture - console tables, dining tables and wooden furniture in the different one.

Starting from the Baltic sea we have Sopot. Sopot is the capital of Poland party life at the Baltic sea and it boats a very long pier. It offers over 10 km of white sandy beach that is dotted with bars and cafes. There are also cycle paths, beautiful promenades, parks and a forest next to the beach. But that`s not all. If you want to have even more relax you can try one of health spas in there or taste some of its nightlife. You won`t be defeated by its clubs and restaurants with finest cuisine from all of the world. And all of that at a very reasonable prices.

When you will have enough of sand and sea you can move your steps down into the centre of Poland - to its capital, Warsaw. The first place to see there is of course Square Market that was rebuilt from scratch in 1950` after it was gutted by Nazis during the World War II. A pastel-tinted masterpiece of reconstruction looks just like poetry. There are many cafes, shops and restaurants that offers original and tasty food as for example a Polish-style duck. In one of the finest restaurants, Fukier, presidents George Bush and Jacques Chirac had there meals and admired the decor of this place. Every year Warsaw organizes international jazz festival held in the Palace of Culture and Science. And the night life in Warsaw almost never ends.
Going south we find a town that is almost a legend. It`s Krakow. Mentioning all things that are worth to see in there would probably take centuries. But there are places you mustn`t omit. Just go to an Old Town and spend some time at the market place. You will feel this unique mood. What`s more you will see the Wawel Castle there, with the Wawel Dragon, Barbican and Cathedral, and also most important educational institution there, in whole Poland as well, a Jagiellonian University. Krakow is famous from an Auschwitz Camp that is situated near it. Over 60 years ago it was a place of mass murders and extermination of millions of people by Nazi Germans. Nowadays thousands of people every year are having tours there.
After you have seen the sea, spent some time at the cultural capitols of Poland there is time for you to visit Poland`s premier mountain resort that is Zakopane. It lies in a big valley between the Tatra Mountains and Gubałówka Hill (one of the most important alpine locations). Every year over three millions of people go to Zakopane for skiing, hiking and camping - both at summer and winter time. A trip in Zakopane may start at Gubalowka Mountain from where you can have a view on Tatra`s as well as Zakopane and then go to see Krupowki - the main street of Zakopane were mountaineers offer the best products they have - cheese that is called `oscypek` and soft woollen clothes . Because it has been enjoyed primarily by Poles and travellers from Eastern Europe the base of Zakopane hotels and restaurants is becoming bigger from year to year.

It`s like almost yesterday the Christmas happened and only in a minute the Easter holiday will begin! This Easter spirit is coming closer, closer in the weather. And because it is a spring time it won`t be so hard to decorate the house and make beautiful table setting.

The spirit and nice decorations are quite important in celebrating Easter. They make our mood better, they live the house, make food more delightful. And one of the most important place in this celebration is of course dining room with its centred dining table. We spent most of our holiday Easter break on sitting at home and around the table - let`s make it look beautiful!
To do that you should be creative and use your imagination! As it was said, at the spring time it will be quite easy to make a beautiful table and home decorations. You just have to use some inspiration from nature and not forget to put an Easter touch in it.

A very good idea are just beautiful flowers. One or two pots in the centre of the table. As good as pots with hyacinths or tulips might be vase with catkins and some handmade Easter eggs hanging on it. It`s good to decide on one type of plants to make the table look better. But in the whole house we can put different flowers. For example different in children`s room and different in bedroom to live up the house.

Flowers are also used to make other decorations. One of them are seasonal door wreaths that are welcoming visitors over the Easter holidays. The most beautiful one are hand-crafted with fresh foliage, herbs and moss, decorated with Easter nests, eggs and ribbons. Try to make them on your own or buy (available in almost every shop with home accessories).
Setting the table on Easter holiday doesn`t differ so much from setting it for Christmas. The tablecloth and napkins should be of course clean and elegant. Both would probably look better if their patterns match - flowers, eggs or bunnies on it. Sometimes putting the tablecloth in one spring solid color (green, yellow) will also make a nice look. For example a green napkins with brown bunnies and a yellow tablecloth will make a great match!

Sometimes you should not put favourite, best plates and tablecloths we got. While having different kinds of dishes on the table and hosting many people there is slightly chance that some food might land on the table not on the plate, and some plates may end up on the floor. Thinking about that might make you feel little nervous.
Some of Easter decorations may also be putted on the chairs as embroidered napkins hanging at the back of the chair or colorful ribbons on it. You can use chairs to make a sweet surprise for your guests and family. Just put a big chocolate bunnies at all dining chairs and you will see how the grown ups are happy like a child. Why big bunnies? Because the small ones won\\\’t be seen, and someone might sit on them.

Rememberabout the look of smaller tables at your home. Bedside table or coffee tables may also look nice if you change them the same way as dining table. Putting a white linen napkin and the vase with spring flours (tulips, pansies, daises etc.) will totally change the look of a living room and bedroom.. If you also put some pots with grass on the window-sills and hang some Easter eggs in few places when possible you will have the whole house done!

When everything is done there is nothing left to celebrate the Easter holidays with all the family and friends gathered around one table - in pleasant moods and beautiful surrounding.

Spring is coming in big steps. It`s a time of changes and refreshing things in our lives. We are willing to do some spring clean in our houses, paint walls, buy some new furniture. We should also improve the look of our gardens?
They are quite important in our lives. You can feel as if you were in the open outdoor even in the city. As we were kids we could play there the whole day and always was something interesting to do and discover. Sitting on the grass beneath the trees and listening to bird singing, swinging, playing hide-and-seek. And most important: mom or dad never wouldn`t mind that, even when we were coming home in shoes covered with mud.

When we grew up garden didn`t lose its meaning but started to be sort of a different place to us. More likely we are willing to sit under the tree on the bench, not on the grass; we are still inviting our friends to spend some nice time with them, but we are not interested in hide-and-seek anymore. We prefer to… organise a garden party or calmly drink… a cup of tea there. We also like our gardens cause we can plant some new trees, vegetables, flowers or put car there.
All of those grown up things needs a little of thinking about arranging and designing the garden. It shows that garden should be specially furnished. And not only with bench and some chairs. To have really pleasant time it is better to furnish it with: garden canopy, carport and green house. What are the advantages of that kind of stuff? Just to name a few:

Standing in the corner of the garden canopies will be great place to have a wonderful tea-time break from the troubles of the day. Break close to nature that won`t depend on the weather - the roof totally protects you and your family from the rain. Do not like too much sun? It will also work on that. Jumping with a parachute, bungee-jumping, fast car drive don`t compare to what you can experience while…being in a salt-mine. You probably don`t believe that? You`ve surely never been in Wieliczka Salt Mine.
The Wieliczka Salt Mine is the place well-known on the whole world. Every year more than one million of tourists come to Poland to see one of its most beautiful and legendary treasures. The most famous historical people as Goethe, Nickolaus Copernicus, Emperor Franz Josef, Boleslaw Prus, pope Jan Paul II, Bill Clinton were totally impressed when seeing the mine. The charm and almost magic atmosphere in Wieliczka can give you chills when experiencing it…135 metres underground.
Wieliczka Salt Mine is the only one salt mine preserved in such good condition. The deposit of rock salt in Wieliczka has been mined since the 13th century (according to some sources it was even 11th century). It has nine levels and the lowest one goes 327 meters down (although tourists tour starts at 65 metre and goes only to 135 metre). Since 1978 Wieliczka Salt Mine is on the UNESCO`s World Heritage List. The numerous pieces of art as altars and statues sculpted in salt needed a costly protection before the humidity and thanks to the help of UNESCO such equipment was installed in the mine.
There are many reasons why Wieliczka is such unique place. It shows a great history of mining due to the conservation of the old galleries and the exhibition of tools used. It gives over two kilometres walk to see all amazing places. It passes through 20 caves, many of them adorned with sculptures the miners made. Amazingly it is very clean. The walls are sparkling when you hold a light to it. The gangways are held upright by complex wooden structures. The most impressive place is the Underground Cathedral - the wall decorations as The Last Supper, the altar, statues, and even floor and ceiling all are made of salt. The creators were three miners who were spending their spare time this way. It took 68 years of work.

Very interesting legend that illustrates the source of salt in Wieliczka is connected with this place. It`s about Hungarian princes Kinga who was about to marry polish king Boleslaw. The saint Kinga was willing to give a special present to her fiance and her new nation. Before she came to Poland and got married she was given one of the salt mines in Hungary as part of her dowry. She dreamt that salt would be discovered in Poland. So she threw her engagement ring into the mine and prayed for that. When she arrived in Poland miners miraculously found a block of salt and Kinga`s ring in a place shown by a princess. It was a beginning of a great prosperity for Poland.

Waiting for a new baby is very exciting time. Future parents know that everything will gonna change. They are happy but also thrilled with the responsibility. Small baby needs a lot of care. It cries a lot which often means that a certain need must be fulfilled. And it may be very tyring to run back and forward from baby-room to bedroom few times at night. Sometimes parents even decide to sleep with their baby in one room but aren`t totally satisfied with that.
When it comes to small babies quality of things that will appear in its room is most important. Buying something just because it`s cheap may bring bad results. It is better to use for example an old furniture - don`t have to buy new table if the old one stands at the attic and looks as new one, don`t have to look for a new crib if your sister`s children grew up. With a few moves you can make those things look totally new! Paint and few nursery decorations will make a great change. Remember that friends and family will be very pleased to help you with decorating the room and before the baby shower you can register for things you would like to see in the room - some useful stuff from accessories for home or nice nursery accessories.
Nursery accessories are very important. They give a finish look of the room, and when there is no possibility to totally rearrange exact room they bring an image of baby-room in a part of parents` room. Nice looking baby room gives parents happy feeling, such if they were coming into a new land, a place were walls are blue with white clouds, the little crib is standing against it, small nursery lamp is in the corner near white cupboard, the floor is covered with Bears and cuddly blankets, and door are held with cute pig doorstop.

Decorating room for a baby is one of the nicest types of interior design. It is so pleasant to wander around shops with cute baby stuff, thinking about the little human we are buying it for.

Next are cushions, blankets and bed throws. There are not only useful stuff for every home-love but also give a nice feeling that we are in our own house. How does it work? Most of people have their own favourite blanket that is a memory from childhood, that brings moments in their life that they barely remember but feel and know that was the most peaceful ever. Cushions and bed throws that match blankets pattern or colour will give a complementary and very nice look.
Another thing are carpets and mats. The floor is very important part of the house and every apartment. Especially when we live with a dog - having the home clean becomes a hard work. So, we can`t forget about special dog mat or just a good washable door mat that will easily keep the dirt of dog`s paws in exact place. As it comes to bathroom bath mats will protect from slips and falls when coming out of the shower, and mats in the kitchen with signs `kitchen` will make it look more sophisticated. And carpets left in the whole house is a great way to complete the look of the living room, bedroom, dining room and corridors.
There probably might be more important items that number you can`t even imagine. But when you deal with those which were mentioned above you can think: `What is still missing in this room?` and the room will give you correct answer. Thanks to curtains, carpets and blankets you will gain great basis to arrange with even smaller details.
